The numbers don’t lie folks.

There’s all the dungeon stuff that you’ve come to like about the series and the storyline with Dale is just as entertaining if not more than the dungeon stuff.

It’s great. I just could not put this thing down. Even at like 3am. Places other novels would just end, this novel uses as a stepping stone to more adventure.

There’s a great ending that may have some people tearing up but I can assure you there’s still some great dungeon on dungeon action too.

Wow. A briliant end to this chapter of the story with an incredible twist that I never saw coming- I'm impressed. I've read thousands of books & the originality, humor & sheer cleverness of this one astounds me!
Looking forward to reading more of Dakota Krout's page-turners. You should too-)
The book was incredible! The series has been well thought out and this book brings answers and more question. Can't wait see how this continues. The characters were well made, they felt more real than your generic op group of characters. At some points, however, there wasn't enough detail. The current power level of characters were not shown and was rarely updated. Other than that, the book was perfect and I cannot wait for more!
A great ending and a great start for the next book.

I was worried about Cal taking on more than he could handle to get Dani back, but the author did a great job solving this problem. The ending was great and I can't wait to see how Dale and Cal grow in the next book.
Soooo good read the book in under a day couldn't take my eyes off of it, haha. I love all the characters in this series and the ending just was wow! Not giving any info on it but it a twist i did not forsee. If you like anything to do with dungeon crawls or really anything to do with elves and dwarven, ect, magical powers and and just amazing fun! i would highly recommend this series too you, easily one of my top five! Can't wait for the next book already!
Wow. What can be said about this book.

First off, this is amazingly well written. It is fun with the right dash of humor, the right dash of adventure, and tying it all together, a well put together world.

Knowing this, what can you expect? Tropes. Lots of tropes. The book has a plethora of them along with puns. It makes great use of wordplay as well as some older refrences so see if you can suss those out.

How did I take it? Well I bought it today... And read it all, today. I also stopped playing World of WarCraft during that time which for anyone who has become addicted to that understands how good something has to be to interrupt that form of addiction.
First go read the first two books, I'll wait.... great, now that you've finished. This book is a fantastic cap to the origin story of a dungeon and all the crazy stuff it gets up to. It completes plot arcs and adds a lot of fantastic new characters and elements to the world, I cannot wait to read the next one and I even am excited for the other series' the author is starting.
Wow! I am seriously impressed. The pacing, the humor, the beloved characters and then an ending that practically requires a second reading of everything to gain additional meaning from the small, previously insignificant details. This book inspired me as a game developer in a way no other book had before, and I loved every minute of it. In fact, after reading dozens of books on my , this is the first one I've felt motivated to write a review on. If you like well-written, clever and funny books about fantasy then I can offer no better recommendation. Read the Dungeon Born series, it's a real treat!
