**If you want a satisfying romance that is a fast read, this is it! I flew through it and lately I've been finding so many novels just don't hold my interest. Niko made me take notice.
**If you want a book that takes things to the next level, this is it. Sometimes you want some depth right? You want characters that are not only sexy and frustrated, but have some layers. Yep, got that here.
**If you want to get a little empathy for someone else - hey, you can have that too!

I had that feeling, that I do often have with this author's books, that I am a becoming a better person while I read it. Oops, back up. Not in a teaching kind of way, don't worry. It's like that change you feel when you meet someone who is different from you, or has some obstacle to overcome that you've never thought about (like oh, not being able to speak). After you become friends with that person, you have a new empathy for their life and their anger and frustrations.

Sanchez has a unique way of bringing you inside her character's lives. I will continue to buy this author's novels and have enjoyed them all. I have to say this is my favorite though, I plan to read it again.

I loved, among many other things, that the author described many of the signed words that Carys taught Niko. It made for a great visual and allows the reader to learn as well. I'm truly inspired to learn ASL.

Wonderful love story that chronicles how an angry, lonely man, Niko, finds solace and more through music and love. Great read!
This book is fantastic. I was intrigued by the premise and was instantly drawn in by the end of chapter 1. I finished this book in about 9 hours and honestly it only took that long because of real life. If it hadn't been for that I would have this done in 4-5 hours because it was that good!
Tough and tender, The Space Between Notes is real, a love story between damaged people who exist with the help and hindrance of their families. The main characters have very different obstacles to overcome, and they repair their lives slowly but well. I was sorry to see this one end
I've been a fan of Kristina's for a while, though only through her fanfiction as LyricalKris. So the opportunity to actually buy a story from her was just great. I've always loved her way of story telling and getting to the heart of her characters and I saw all that in this book. It was a solid character driven romance dealing with some really interesting issues and I thought she handled them really well. I loved this book a lot.
Niko's actions put him a spot and as his friend Jamie tries to keep him out of trouble, the two of them get introduced Carys. I really enjoyed the personalities of the characters and how the stories of each one unfold gradually. I love the way that Niko's story is metered out slowly while Carys has jumped into his life without invitation and full of her suggestions about how he can change his. As time goes on, he begins to enjoy seeing her and delighting in her all-in attitude. But as the story continues, he finds some things he can do to help her in her own life.
This one pulls out some tears as the characters begin to examine their own lives and do the work involved to get there.
