I don't read a ton of Harlequins. Their heroines tend to be so downtrodden. However, I really like this one. The hero spends a good deal of time befuddled by his own emotions, and the heroine only confuses him further because she is willing to stand up to him. You have to read this with a wry sense of humor because, while the jealous possessive hero has many alpha moments, the author and heroine point them out. By doing this, the condescending moments can be laughed at. Both characters are rather likeable, and I enjoyed the story very much.

I really liked this book. The hero is a really wealthy banker and although he messes up in the beginning, he immediately steps up to the plate when he finds out he is a father. He is a total alpha male and knows what he wants, but he also has a soft side and does some pretty romantic things. The heroine is stubborn and determined to do the right thing for her children, and sometimes that requires asking for help. Even though she does finally break down and ask for help, she in no way let's him run over her. I loved this book and would recomend it.
Great story. Well written, great dialogue, interactions and humor...hope that other authors out their take note on what a well written story should be about. Lynne Graham is an amazing Author.
Alexandros was just recovering from the death of his wife when he meets Katie. Unfortunately she winds up pregnant and alone until dire circumstances force her to reach out.

Story starts out great but Katie' s character just turns to whiney and mean. Alexandros gets a five Katie a three.

Book has a happy ending, interesting plot line worth a read.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters. I looked everything about this book except how the H kept saying that everything was the h fault. He kept blaming her everything and so did the h. It was an issue that just kept getting repeated over and over again. There was only a little bit in the story were you got to see them actually happy and in love, which was at the end. I would of liked to see that a bit more and the main characters to stop playing the blame game. Other than that I would recommend this book.
When the H lost his wife he decided not to remarry. But when he finds out that an ex mistress had not one but two boys he goes all out to get them and her. Even if he had to marry her. Thinking that all he wanted was the boys, she sets ground rules for the marriage. But will either be happy with those rules?
Katie and Alexandros are a great couple! They met, clicked, she fell head over heels in love, he dumped her...fast forward 18 months and she's struggling to raise her twin babies. At her wits end, unable to make ends meet, she contacts Alexandros. He never received the letter she sent, or was told she tried to contact him by phone. So he's shocked at the news he's a father. His past makes him wary and he does not handle things well. But never fear...the HEA will happen despite wounded hearts and misunderstandings. Be sure to read this one. It's a sweet story and an entertaining read!
I love possessive Hs and I don't expect harlequin novels to be too far off the well travelled and formulaic path, but this was just blah. The h was a doormat and not very intelligient. The H was likable enough and had some great possessive/jealous moments, I just wish it were over a more interesting h. I especially dislike the end, all of a few pages, when after the H says one thing the h explains the rest of it for him and everything is magically tied up. No groveling, no surprises, nothing new or to be recommended.
