I know, I’ve said it before, I hate these so called “trilogies”, when all it is is one epic novel, chopped into three pieces so they can sell three books. Only the third book had anything you could call an ending, and not a very good one at that. The first two had no ending. They just stopped. Anyway, book one was ok. Book two was absolutely terrible and boring to no end. Book three was good for three quarters and I was already thinking four stars minimum. The. Came the last quarter. Back to boring and a sloppy end. The main characters in these books are shallow to say the least. The secondary characters are a lot more colorful, but evil. The sex in these books are graphic and that’s ok, but they are borderline porn. I know these book get pretty good reviews on Amazon, but I don’t know why. The story is as immature as the characters. The writing is immature. If I was sixteen years old, I’m sure they would be great. But, I have fifty years of reading under my belt and these just don’t cut it.

There are books that are good, there are books that are great and then there is this series! This trilogy sets the bar so high others will have a hard time living up to this standard.
For starters I have to admit in the previous two books I wasn't a huge fan of Quinn's. Don't get me wrong I didn't dislike her ,but she wasn't a favorite. I did have complete faith in this author after such superbly written books one and two that by the end of this book I would better understand Quinn. I am now a huge Quinn fan, as well as a huge Vickie Mckeehan fan.
The characters in this trilogy are so well crafted , each and every single one has so much personality you feel you can reach out and touch them. That goes for the bad guys as well as the good. The mystery and plot are multi-layered and delicious. The romance is perfectly written in a very sexy romantic way. This is a series about LOVE not just sex. Although the sex is really hot. Love is the foundation that this series is built upon. The love of three best girlfriends and the love of the heroes who fall for them. Their creed is " Together we let no one hurt us .We are most powerful when we are one. We draw strength from each other. One. " Their quest to end Evil is built upon love for one another and an overwhelming desire to make the world a better place.
This is without question one of the best series I have ever read. It will be hard for anything to live up to this entertaining trilogy, but I will certainly enjoy trying to find one. I highly recommend this to all who enjoy a feel good trilogy that will take you on the roller coaster ride of your life.
Each book in the trilogy got better and better! It was no surprise to me that Ending Evil was phenomenal! While I was very sad to say good bye to Kit, Quinn, Baylee, Dylan, Jake and Reese, it truly was the perfect ending to a wonderful series! I won't fill up a lot of space with plot spoilers (what fun would that be!) but will simply say, Ending Evil kept me on the edge of my seat, made me laugh, and even brought a tear to my eye. The strength of the three women...make that four, with Gloria...to overcome unspeakable evil was inspiring and touching, and how often does that happen in a mystery?! Vickie McKeehan certainly knows how to spin an incredible story and create living, breathing characters that resonate with strength, compassion, love, joy and some great steamy stuff thrown in for good measure! I can't wait to go check out more of Ms. Mckeehan's writing!
Oh what can I say but Bravo Vickie McKeehan!!!! Of the three book this is hands down the BEST!!! I just can not say enough about your writing. I have always been drawn to suspense and thrillers but you have taken and made it even more so a favorite of mine. In this review I am not going to review the story as a whole as it is just way to easy to give away too many spoilers.

Each book had character focus, though still having all characters involved.

Just evil- Kit trying to move on from her traumatic childhood and clearing her name of the murder of her so called abusive mother, and the death of her actor father. Crossing paths with her High school crush {Jake} and falling in love with him all over again. All while being stalked and tormented by Cade.

Deeper Evil- Baylee having to keep her secret of Sarah's father {Conner} from her friends and from Conner himself. Finding out that Alana and Jessica murdered her mother and the fact that her drunken cruel father knew about it but said and did nothing about it. Meets Dylan her knight and shinning armor who will do nothing but make sure her and her daughter are
safe.

Ending Evil- Quinn Finally faces her demons, comes to find out that the drug addict mother who raised her was not her Bio mom but only a cruel act at the hands of none other than Alan and Jessica. Finds out her father had not abandon her but is ready and willing to be in her life. Finally reveals her nightmares about Colin and lets her guard down to Reese.

All this with the help from a Stranger they finally punish The Boyd boys and reclaim their lives as their own no longer having to look over their shoulders and face even more pain and suffering at the hands of the second generation of Evil that has hidden in the shadows of their lives.
The bond that Kit, Baylee, and Quinn have shared since childhood is what has given them the strength and courage to face their demons head on and has allowed them to find trust and love in each other and in the men that have grabbed hold of their hearts.
